    Giving Host

    The Goal

    • Create a comfortable environment for guests by offering a trustworthy space process for people to give their tithe and offering.


    Preparing to be on Team


    TEAM:
    1 TEAM MEMBER

    • Hospitality Host team members should wear the team lanyard at all times. Part of creating a comfortable environment is being easily recognisable to our guests. Spare lanyards are in the Guest Services room in the foyer


    Pre-Service

    • Arrive on time ready for the pre-service team huddle at 8:00am.

    • At the team huddle, your team leader will assign you to a particular area if needs be and communicate any specific details about the weekend service.

    • Prepare the Station

      • Ensure pen and folder are in position, the EFTPOS machine/s are operational and the cash tin is prepared

      • Double check cleanliness of station

      • Check in with GS Team Leader regarding anything out of the ordinary people are purchasing or registering for.

    • Attend the full team prayer meeting at 8:30am in the foyer.

     

    Post-Service

    • During final connection please make your way to the Giving Station

    • Process EFTPOS transactions for guests and support any cash donations as required

    • Wipe down the station and clean hands once finished

    • Once crowd has thinned count the cash (with Team Leader), then report all cash + EFTPOS transactions on the Finances form (teams.cityhope.com.au – Administration – Finance Report). Place cash in relevant envelopes and store in safe (Team Leader knows combination)

    • Attend 10:45am team huddle

    • Return your lanyard back to the Guest Services cupboard or store room.

    • Please refrain from eating, drinking or using your phone while serving.
