Create a comfortable environment for guests by offering personalised service for free tea and coffee and assisting in any food service as required
TEAM: 1 TEAM MEMBER
Hospitality Host team members should wear the provided Guest Services Welcome T-Shirt and team lanyard at all times if comfortable. Part of creating a comfortable environment is being easily recognisable to our guests. Spare lanyards are in the Guest Services room in the foyer
Arrive on time ready for the pre-service team huddle at 8:00am.
At the team huddle, your team leader will assign you to a particular area if needs be and communicate any specific details about the weekend service.
Prepare the foyer
Help team to ensure all tables are wiped down and clean, ready for our guests
Check the tea and coffee station is stocked and ready for post service. See the photos of how to set up the station below. Ensure there are:
Gloves for serving
Enough Cups
Fill up and turn on urn.
Ensure that a jug of milk is ready to go in one of the fridges in the kitchen for after the service.
Attend the full team prayer meeting at 8:30am in the foyer.
Host station and/or food service
During the final connections head to the foyer
Collect the jug of milk from the fridge and put it out at the tea and coffee station
You must remain at the urn at all times post service
Please wear gloves provided and offer to make peoples tea for them
At 10:40am offer last service of hot drinks
At 10:45am Close Stationand Attend Guest Services Team Debrief
Post team meeting:
Wipe down the tables in the foyer and help to vacuum where needed to ensure the foyer and auditorium are left in good condition.
Return your lanyard back to the Guest Services cupboard
At all times, be on the lookout for any spills or areas which need cleaning in order to create a welcoming environment for our guests
Please refrain from eating, drinking or using your phone while serving.
