PEOPLE TEAM: FROM CARPARK TO CONNECT GROUP
THE GOAL
Create a comfortable environment for guests by offering a sincere greeting and acknowledging each guest as they enter the building as well as hosting them throughout the service as required.
PREPARING TO BE ON TEAM
Foyer Host team members should wear the provided Guest Services Welcome T-Shirt or team lanyard at all times if comfortable. Part of creating a comfortable environment is being easily recognisable to our guests. Spare lanyards are in the Guest Services room in the foyer
BEFORE PRAYER MEETING
Arrive at 8:00am and meet your team leader who will communicate any specifics for the service.
Each week, team leaders will delegate the following roles:
New Person cards on seats (plus others if required)
Check of toilets - cleanliness and supplies
Check of cleanliness - auditorium and foyer
At the team huddle, your team leader will assign you to a particular door for welcoming.
Attend the full team prayer meeting at 8:30am in the foyer.
.
AFTER PRAYER MEETING
Head to the doors straight after Prayer Meeting (approx 8:40am) and greet each guest enthusiastically as though you were expecting them. Show them you are glad they are here. Where possible, use names
Maintain positive body language (smile, make eye contact, and stand with good posture)
Please escort any guest who asks where something is located. This helps them feel valued.
Stay in your assigned area until the Guest Services Team Leader lets you know that you may go inside and join the service. We can’t be successful without every team member!
Please remember to refrain from eating, drinking or using your phone while serving.
AFTER THE SERVICE
Please be available to host those in the foyer who need it remembering our role is to make the house feel like a home.
Post Service All Team Meeting at 10:45am. Please all team members attend this post-service team gathering
We would also love your help to clean and wipe down areas
We ask that you stay until 11:00am, after this time the team leader will start to ask people to leave, and will do the lock-up.
