ARRIVAL
Arrive at Church
Check Dimmer switch is on
Switch on Lighting ppts at backstage and plug in any power to lights/leds
Turn on Lighting computer
Familiraise yourself with the runsheet noting any special lighting queues.
REHEARSAL
Check lighting cues are working inc/ dimmers
check all lights are working by running through a few cues
Pump fog to check if workin, reposition fan if moved or pouring into the fron stage
Check catwalk dimmer switches havent tripped - if yes, then to switch to on, on catwalk
Attend Pre-Brief
Lower House lights to P&W levels for Band and Vocal rehearsal
Decide on queues to use for each song, make adjustments if required
Use queues during rehearsal familiarising yourself with timing etc.
House lights up for sound checks and cleaning by GS
Leave lights on General queue with colour backdrop
DURING SERVICE
Small & Main stage down for pre-roll
Begin lowering house lights to P&W with 1min left on pre-roll
Bring Fog in during countdown
Bring Main stage right up when pre-roll ends and Connections speak
Run lighting queues as decided in rehearsal
Listen to producer for any lighting queues they need during service
AFTER SERVICE
After service wait until auditorium is empty before switching lights off (same as arrival)
Make Producer aware of any issues encountered for their report
Debrief with Tech team after band debrief
RESET - Reset everything back to how it should be as default for the next person.
OTHER POINTS TO BE AWARE OF
Make sure there is always Fog on stage during P&W
Connections will step onto small stage after doing their connection
Use General lights for Speaking & Preaching moments
House lights turned up during welcome time and let up during rest of service
House Black for preview, leave back downlights on a bit for GS to see
Make Producer aware of any issues encountered for their report
