    IN-EAR HEADPHONES & FOLDBACK

    • If you are joining our musicians or singers team you will need to purchase In-Ear Headphones as we all our foldback for our music runs through these not any physical speakers.

These need to be corded headphones with a headphone jack on the end, (not bluetooth) as they plug into the reciever.

These recievers need to be attached to your body somewhere so please be mindful of your dress ie. clipped into your back pocket etc.

The Shure SE215's are a great option for these. https://www.storedj.com.au/shure-se215-sound-isolating-earphones-clear

    • We us an app to control our foldback mix in our ears - this is called MX-Q and can be downloaded from the smartphone app store.

    Music Director Checklist

It’s the Music Directors roll to support the Worship Leader’s vision for the set and lead the band.

Download app: Music Stand by PCO.

    -       You may have your iPad on stage for your music and note 10 DAYS OUT:

    -       Check Planning Center for songs and keys.
    -       Chat with the WL about keys, transitions and ideas for the set.

    SERVICE RUNDOWN:
    -       Using the WL’s rundown, create notes for the service on Music Stand.
    -       An easy way for remembering the form of songs is to number. For example, if you WL wants V1, V2, Ch, Ch, V3, Ch, Br, Br, Br - your numbering system would be V1 is 1, V2 is 2, Ch is 3, Ch is 4 and so on. Then, you just follow the numbers for your order.
    -       Listen to the songs for the weekend and note down any dynamic changes or music cuts.
    -       Note down any transition.

    PRE SERVICE:
    -       Arrive at 6:30am (SF)/6:45am (RIPLEY) so you can set up.
    -       7am Sound Check. You will need to help the sound person run this. Get the team to check their ears. Run a song with the track.
    -       7:15am meeting run by producer. Run through your set with the team. Ask the band director if they have anything to add.
    -       7:30am. By this time you should be practicing. Run any transitions that may be tricky first. Then run your set top to bottom.
    -       Make sure you are calling the form and dynamics throughout the set.
    -       If you have time, run it again with the connection host. Finish by 8:10am.
    -       Remind your team to clean their area before they leave.
    -       8:15am Pre-Service meeting and prayer is run by Campus Pastors, Producers + Guest Services Leader.

    SERVICE:
    -       Time is 21mins for Worship + Connections.
    -       Make sure you are calling the form and dynamic throughout the set.
    -       Our role is to lean into whatever God moment is happening, partnering with the connections host and WL in the stewardship of the moment.

    POST SERVICE:
    -       Debrief with the team. (Whole team at Ripley Campus. Producer, Band Direction, Sound Person and WL only at SF.)
