THE GOAL

• To serve the parents in our church by creating a hosted experience full of faith and love, in an inviting environment.

ARRIVAL TIME

• Arrive at 8:00am and meet your team leader for the full team huddle

BEFORE PRAYER MEETING

• Ensure our parents can have the best experience of the service by:

  • Checking both TVs in the space are turned on

  • Checking the sound in both spaces is at a good level

• Ensure our feeding Mums are comfortable, by:

  • Checking the light settings in the room (dim)

  • Checking the temperature of the room

• Set up the tea and coffee station by:

  • Filling up the instant hot water dispenser to 2L

  • Putting out a jug of milk

  • Ensuring there is tea and coffee available

  • Ensuring there are cups available

ATTEND THE 8:30AM PRAYER MEETING

AFTER PRAYER MEETING + DURING THE SERVICE

• Head to the area straight after Prayer Meeting and ensure the space is clean and tidy, particularly after kids leave at 8:45am to attend City Kids

• As parents arrive to use the area, love on them and serve them however possible. Practically this may look like:

  • Welcoming them into the space, and introducing yourself

  • Opening the gate for them

  • Offering them a cup of tea/coffee

  • Offering them a bottle of water

  • Offering to push or rock their pram for them (please ask permission!)

•  Set the atmosphere of faith and engagement in the room, by:

  • Engaging in praise and worship, and the message

  • Offering to pray with people

  • Pastorally caring as the opportunity or need presents itself.

AFTER THE SERVICE

• Please assist the parents in tidying the area

• Empty the instant hot water dispenser, wash out the jug and reset the kitchenette area ready for the next service

• Attend the 10:45am team debrief, passing on any relevant suggestions, feedback or pastoral care concerns to your team leader.
