    Service Manager

    The Service Manger is responsible for the practical elements of the service, outside of the auditorium. They support the People Team and City Kids ministries to create synergy, a culture of excellence and a priority on the experience of our people.


    They report directly to the Senior Pastor, with the:

    • People Team Leader, and

    • City Kids Service Leader, reporting directly to them.

    PRE-SERVICE:

    • Bring leadership, faith and encouragement to the People Team and City Kids Team

    • Problem solve as required across the People Team and City Kids Ministries

    • Respond to any requests from the People Team or City Kids Leaders, including team gaps, tech issues etc.

    • Ensure excellence in facilities, team and atmosphere (see practical checklist below)

    • Attend the 8:10 am production meeting

    • Attend and bring faith to the 8:20am prayer meeting

    • Post-Prayer meeting, as much as possible, ensure people have a positive experience by serving our people, looking for anyone not connecting and empowering team to speak with them


    DURING THE SERVICE:

    • 9:15am - Check in with City Kids Service Leader

    • Keep an eye on seating and activate people team if needed.

    • Be available via text and Messenger chats to the People Team leader and City Kids leader, checking in as required.


    PRACTICAL CHECKLIST TO LOOK OVER + KEEP AN EYE ON:

    • Downstairs

      • Check in with City Kids Service Leader

      • Walk through downstairs

      • Turn air conditioners on early if needed in rooms.

      • Check all tech is working in City Kids spaces

      • Check in with City Kids team leader - 8am and 9.15am

    • Upstairs

      • Check in with People team leader.

      • Check Toilet cleanliness and smell

      • Lights on everywhere.

      • Aircons on everywhere (parents room)

      • Check parents room cleanliness

      • Monitor Foyer Music Levels

      • Carpark walkthrough and check for rubbish, gardens, anything out of ordinary.

      • Milk & Honey Check in with team, any problems

      • Eftpos room Bench Tidy

      • Check in with Connect area people
