    Sound Engineer

    • RIPLEY CAMPUS

    ARRIVAL

    • Check sound requirements (No of singers, what instruments playing)

    • Stage setup

    • FOH, FF, SF & Subs Checks - Play a song

    • Get all Mics ready with batteries & Wireless In Ears

    • Load Default Scene on Mixer

    • Sound Check of Instruments, starting with Drums as a base

    • Drum click, Track & Track Click(Max Vol on iPad), MD

    • WL’s & Vocals (Line Check)

    • Run song with all instruments and vocals to do a simple mix and people to adjust ears

    • Ask about any problems or issues to be fixed

    • Attend Prebrief with whole team

    • Run through the run sheets and anything interesting.

    • Any solos and WL, Instruments

    REHERSAL

    • Main rehearsal time. Start with Mix from back

    • Take iPad to stage and adjust Vocals foldback

    • Move around room.

    • Check how Front of house sounds

    • Check Vocal Strength and levels

    • Check Foyer level of Auditorium send and then mute until doors open

    • Please make sure Track is loud enough to give energy to the praise songs. 

    • Check Foyer volume level with Producer - foyer Fader (-10 Pre & Post, 0db for Preaching)

    • Sound check with Speakers & Pastors

    • Adjust gain/level of Marks voice in FOH

    • Tune voice in FOH

    • Drop FOH and check FB levels

    • Bring all together again (FOH & FB)

    • Use iPad to walk and check the FF (front fills) and overall auditorium.

    • Check MC Mic & other speakers mics

    • Check Media Send

    • Check the record Send

    DURING SERVICE

    • Mix service

    • Check record level periodically

    • Monitor battery levels on wireless gear

    • Put music on at end of service

    POST SERVICE

    • Go to debrief 

    • Once down from debrief then transition music to the foyer ipod

    • Turn off system. 

    • Clean and straighten ready for the next weekend 

    • Place all batteries on charge and spray mics 

    • Report any changes or issue (etc. faulty mics) to producer.

    • If you empty the bin i will shout you a drink from Milk and Honey

    • Debrief with the tech team after band debrief

    • RESET - Reset everything back to how it should be as default for the next person.
