    City Kids

Kids Loving Jesus and His Church

Thank you for being a part of City Kids!

Cityhope is a place to belong. It is our vision that we would see children visit our church, find a place where they feel loved and connected, come to know Christ and continue to grow and develop a real relationship with Him. An environment where both children and parents can step into the wonder-filled life that God has called them to and step into the promises and the call of God on their lives.

The content on this Teams website serves as a manual to provide clarity to parents and team members as to the roles, responsibilities and expectations involved with serving in City Kids. Any team member that serves in our Children's Ministry must follow these policies and procedures as they are set forth to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children to seek Christ. If you have any questions or require any further clarification please do not hesitate to contact our City Kids Director.

    Weekend Service Overview

    PRE-SERVICE PREPARATION

We ask that our primary team arrives at 8am and our creche and preschool teams arrive at 8:15am. Having their respective rooms ready and all on team prepared for the morning’s service and runsheet before our 8:30am (‘All in’) Prayer Meeting.

    CHECK IN

Check in for City Kids commences 15mins prior to the main service. Parents and children are greeted by the Check In Team, who then assist parents by checking their children in to our online system. A name tag for each child is printed alongside a Parent Security Label which holds a unique matching code. Parents can then proceed to drop their children off at each program before returning to the Main Service.

    NEW FAMILIES

Our 'New Families' counter is located at the top of the stairs where our Check in Team greet and guide new families through our registration process and then orientate them downstairs.

    PROGRAM

Children are assigned to one of our programs for the duration of the service, depending on their age.

    CHECK OUT

Following the main service, parents will collect their children from their age group program and then as they leave the City Kids’ space our Check In Team will sign their child/ren out of the online system. They are given a friendly farewell and when appropriate some positive feedback from the child’s involvement in the service.*At this point the team may ask parents/adults to show their Security Tag

    POST-SERVICE

Following the service teams pack away and reset their rooms before completing their cleaning procedure. A quick de-brief meeting is held where the Service Leaders & team have an opportunity to celebrate the highlights of the morning and discuss any concerns or future improvements to the program. Attendance numbers are collated and Stats Form submitted.
